![]() Thursday, 19th Mar 2009 11:18 Former Town striker Alan Lee has completed his loan move to Norwich City. The Irishman, who also had the opportunity to join Sheffield Wednesday or other Championship clubs, has had a disappointing season since moving to Crystal Palace in August. Lee, who will be with the Canaries until the end of the season, says he is pleased with the move: "I'm delighted, it hasn't been working out particularly well at Crystal Palace, so to get the opportunity to come back to a big club is really pleasing. "There were a couple of other clubs in the Championship which I could have gone to, but I felt I could come here and make a difference - rather than playing the time out in mid-table, I can go somewhere and really contribute to the season. "The position Norwich are in is not ideal, but there's been a couple of good results lately, a couple of clean sheets and I think you can take positives from that." Lee says his Town past shouldn't affect how he gets on with the supporters at Carrow Road: "I knew I was going to have to face some questions, but I'm sure if I score the goals and work hard, the Norwich fans won't mind. I'll just be thinking about the games and looking forward to them." The 30-year-old is likely to be back at Portman Road for the East Anglian derby on April 19th.
