Lee Completes Norwich Move
Lee Completes Norwich Move

Former Town striker Alan Lee has completed his loan move to Norwich City. The Irishman, who also had the opportunity to join Sheffield Wednesday or other Championship clubs, has had a disappointing season since moving to Crystal Palace in August.

Lee, who will be with the Canaries until the end of the season, says he is pleased with the move: "I'm delighted, it hasn't been working out particularly well at Crystal Palace, so to get the opportunity to come back to a big club is really pleasing.

"There were a couple of other clubs in the Championship which I could have gone to, but I felt I could come here and make a difference - rather than playing the time out in mid-table, I can go somewhere and really contribute to the season.

"The position Norwich are in is not ideal, but there's been a couple of good results lately, a couple of clean sheets and I think you can take positives from that."

Lee says his Town past shouldn't affect how he gets on with the supporters at Carrow Road: "I knew I was going to have to face some questions, but I'm sure if I score the goals and work hard, the Norwich fans won't mind. I'll just be thinking about the games and looking forward to them."

The 30-year-old is likely to be back at Portman Road for the East Anglian derby on April 19th.
