![]() Tuesday, 24th Mar 2009 17:22 Liam Trotter has extended his loan spell with Scunthorpe United until the end of the season. Trotter has already spent a month with the Iron, in which he has made only five fleeting appearances as a sub. The midfielder's extension would allow him to take part in the play-offs if Scunthorpe are in the end of season League One shake-up. Meanwhile, former Blue Sylvain Legwinski has joined Eagle Bitter United Counties League, Premier Division side St Neots Town as a player-coach under new manager Steve Lomas. The former West Ham man, who will also be assisted by former Hammer and Wimbledon midfielder Michael Hughes, says Legwinski could prove a big influence on the club's players: "Sylvain is keen to get some coaching experience. He might play a few games and his experience will be great for the younger players."
