Cambridge United boss Gary Brabin says he is confident that on-loan Town midfielder Jai Reason will join his club permanently at the end of the season. Reason, who is enjoying a hugely successful spell at the Abbey Stadium, is out of contract in June.

Brabin said: "It's no secret he wants to stay at the club and we want to keep him.

"It's just a matter of dotting the ‘i's and crossing the ‘t's. But at this moment in time I don't want to disturb what we're doing on the pitch."

Reason is a doubt ahead of this weekend's home game against Forest Green due to a bruised foot.
