On-loan Town midfielder Jai Reason is off to Wembley for the Blue Square Premier play-off final with Cambridge United. The U's overcame a 3-1 deficit from the first leg of their semi-final to beat Stevenage 4-3 on aggregate after extra-time at the Abbey Stadium.

Reason played the full 120 minutes for his temporary club, who face Torquay in the final on Sunday, 18th May for a place in next season's League Two. Also in the U's side was Ipswich-born goalkeeper Danny Potter.

Reason, 19, is one of the 13 Town players out of contract at the end of the season and is set to be released. Cambridge have already said they would like to sign him permanently, while league clubs including Hartlepool United have been keeping a close eye on him in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, another of Town's out of contract players, striker Billy Clarke, is being linked with a summer move to Oldham Athletic. The Latics appointed new boss Dave Penney, who managed Clarke during his loan spell at Darlington earlier in the season, at the end of last week. Like Reason, Clarke is expected to leave Portman Road over the summer.

The 13 Town players out of contract at the end of the season are Alex Bruce, Shane Supple, Iván Campo, Dan Harding, Chris Casement, Dean Bowditch, Liam Trotter, Kurt Robinson, Matt Richards, Billy Clarke, Tommy Miller, Jai Reason and Ed Upson.
