Hungarian international striker Gergely Rudolf says he is flattered that foreign clubs are keeping an eye on him. As TWTD revealed on Saturday, Town boss Roy Keane was in Budapest over the weekend to watch him in action as his Debreceni side won 1-0 at Honvéd.

Rudolf says that at present he is most concerned with helping his current team to the Hungarian title: "This is a great honour for me if I'm being watched by foreign clubs, but at this time I want to concentrate on the season with Debreceni."

The 24-year-old has won seven full caps for Hungary, scoring one goal, and his international boss, Dutchman Erwin Koeman, says the Nyiregyháza-born player would benefit from a move away from his home country: "For his development I think he should go abroad too."

Meanwhile, it has emerged that the pre-season tournament the Blues pulled out of shortly after the recent change of manager was the Wout van Overdam Toernooi held in Holland in early August.

We understand the Blues planned to send a reserve team to play in the competition, which features Manchester United's second string, but new manager Roy Keane felt that the Town squad wouldn't be big enough to accommodate participating in the competition at a time when the domestic season will already have started.

Elsewhere, the Blues are claimed to be one of a number of clubs to have kept an eye on Stevenage Borough striker Steve Morison in recent months. A Town move for the 25-year-old would appear very unlikely and in any case Millwall are said to be close to making an £85,000 move for the ex-Northampton striker, who has also been linked with Charlton.
