Norwich City are targeting released striker Billy Clarke and Leyton Orient are after Dean Bowditch, according to this morning's tabloids. The out-of-contract duo were released by the Blues last week.

Rumours that the Canaries would look to Clarke to fire them out of League One next season have appeared on the TWTD Message Board on a number of occasions over the last week, while Brentford are also understood to be keen to sign the Irishman on a permanent basis.

Clarke's former boss at another of his loan clubs Darlington, Dave Penney, was also reported to be interested in taking him to his new side Oldham.

Bowditch will be very familiar to Orient boss Geraint Williams, who kept a close eye on Town's reserve and academy teams during his time as Colchester manager.

Meanwhile, the Blues are again being linked with a move for Barnet striker John O'Flynn. The former Cork City frontman said last week that he would love to join Roy Keane's Town.

O'Flynn was previously linked with the Blues in March and prior to that TWTD revealed that Town were watching the former Irish U21 international in July 2007 during his time with Cork.
