![]() Tuesday, 30th Jun 2009 12:17 Midfielder Liam Trotter will sign his new deal with the Blues tomorrow, according to a report this lunchtime. Trotter is out of contract at the end of today and has also been offered terms by former loan club Scunthorpe. Contrary to a recent report which claimed the 20-year-old would opt for a move to Glanford Park, the academy product is now said to be ready to put pen to paper on his new Town contract. There was a hint that Trotter had agreed to stay with the Blues yesterday when his name was included in a 17-man provisional travelling party for next Tuesday's friendly in Ireland against Finn Harps. The Ipswich-born player is understood to have agreed a one-year contract with Town, while Scunthorpe were believed to have offered him a three-year deal. Alex Bruce, Shane Supple and Ed Upson have already signed new contracts, but none of the other nine players whose current terms are up at the end of today were offered new deals. Tommy Miller has joined Sheffield Wednesday, Billy Clarke Blackpool, Jai Reason former loan club Cambridge United, Chris Casement Dundee and Kurt Robinson Rushden, where he spent time on loan last season. Dan Harding is likely to sign for Reading, with whom he ended the season on loan, while Dean Bowditch, Ivan Campo and Matt Richards are yet to be confirmed at new clubs.
