Peters and Murray Set to Win Caps

Jaime Peters and Ronan Murray look set to pick up caps this evening with the Canada full side and the Irish U19s respectively. Loan keeper Asmir Begovic and January signing Brian Murphy both appear likely to be unused squad members as Bosnia and Ireland play their World Cup play-off second legs.

Peters and Canada are in friendly action in Poland, while Murray’s Irish U19s complete their European Championship qualifying group games with a match against Italy in San Marino. Victories in their previous two games have already seen Murray's side into the next stage of the qualifying process.

Begovic is again expected to be on the subs' bench in Zenica as his Bosnia team look to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg of their World Cup play-off in Portugal on Saturday.

Murphy is expected to be the Republic of Ireland’s third choice keeper as they seek to come from behind against France in Paris, having lost the first leg by the same margin (Sky Sports One, 7.30pm).
