Bruce To Join Leicester City
Bruce To Join Leicester City

TWTD understands that Town central defender Alex Bruce is set to sign for Leicester City on loan until the end of the season. Bruce has rarely been involved in the first team since picking up an injury in the defeat to Newcastle in late September.

The Irish international signed a new contract in the summer aimed at extending his stay until 2011.

Earlier in the season Bruce was briefly Town captain but lost the armband in his spell out injured.

Phew...he's useless - lets hope he has the same impact on their defence as he had on ours.

This is the best news I have heard in ages. Loads of heart but simply not good enough for the Championship. Bye Alex.......

Whole hearted player but only ever squad material ,how he was made Captain is unbelievable and highlights Keanes lack of judgement with players ,Magilton was letting him go Roy makes him captain now he cant get in the side ,says it all

As far as I can see, Bruce has given everything every time he's played for us. Whatever his actual performance on the field (and he often put in good performances), you can't fault a player with that attitude. Thanks, Brucey, and good luck!
