![]() Wednesday, 10th Feb 2010 19:45 Academy trio Rory McKeown (pictured), Josh Carson and Cormac Burke have been named in the Northern Ireland U17 squad for a training camp in Manchester next week. The players will join up with the Northern Irish party on Sunday and will train and play games against academy sides until Wednesday. After the camp, manager Paul Kee will select his final 18-man squad for a European Championship elite round mini-tournament in March. Northern Ireland are hosting the mini-tournament from March 17th-22nd when the face Belgium, Spain and Poland. Left-back McKeown and midfielder Carson joined the academy as scholars last summer, while Burke will join them full-time at Playford Road next season. All three have previously won five U17 caps.
