Burley on Flora Win Sunday, 22nd Jul 2001 23:42 George Burley was very pleased with his troops after last night's 5-1 win over FC Flora in Tallinn. Goals from Marcus Stewart, Pablo Couñago (2), Jamie Clapham and Martijn Reuser won Town's third pre-season friendly. The Town boss singled out Town's young Spaniard for particularly praise: "Pablo showed a lot of class. He scored two goals and might have had even more. He looks a good prospect. He has settled into the squad very well, we are very pleased to have him here. "It was an outstanding team performance. Everyone played very well, although it was probably Titus Bramble's best game of the tour, and the midfield worked well. The trip has gone well and the boys looked even sharper than in the previous matches." Town were without Tommy Miller and James Scowcroft with groin and hamstring injuries respectively. Neither is thought to be a big worry. Town were watched by Tord Grip, Sven-Goran Eriksson's right-hand man. Town's next pre-season game is against Braintree on Wednesday. The game is the postponed Russell Tanner testimonial from July. Town will field a mixture of first team and reserve players. Sunday sees Town play Peterborough at London Road.
