![]() Wednesday, 24th Mar 2010 09:49 Brentford boss Andy Scott says he doubts Pim Balkestein’s move to Griffin Park will be sorted before the emergency loan deadline on Thursday. The Blues and Bees are yet to agree a fee for the Dutchman, who Scott hopes to sign on loan initially with the deal being made permanent in the summer. Scott said: "We’re still speaking to Ipswich about bringing Pim back, but it doesn’t look like it’ll happen before Thursday. "The conversations we have had with Ipswich have been positive, but whether we can do it before the window closes financially-speaking is another matter.” Balkestein made eight appearances for Brentford during a loan spell during November and December. Earlier in the week, Town boss Roy Keane said he was weighing up whether to make a loan addition to his squad before Thursday: “It’s something in the back of my mind and I know we’re running out of days. We’ll see over the next few days. We’ll see after [Tuesday] night.”
