Other links reported this weekend are Manchester United pair Ronny Johnsen and Jesper Blomqvist. Both are out of favour at Old Trafford after suffering injuries in the last couple of years.

Blomqvist has already accepted his United career is over while Johnsen looks to be well away from a starting place.

It is suggested that the two would make ideal additions to the Town squad given their European experience.
