This was a hard game for Town playing some neat passing football in the first half with Jideofo Maduako getting a firm header from a corner kick to open the scoring. Some good goalkeeping by Cody Cropper kept Town well in contention.the game was beginning to get tough with injuries to several of Towns players that needed treatment. The second half Palace came out hard and fast Towns youngsters began to tire after their previous hard games away from home. Lavery was shown the yellow card for decent.Town was facing a barrage of shots and corners, and from a free kick Palace's left back, got his foot to the loose ball to put it past the keeper.Worst was to follow a rash tackle in Towns box resulted in a penalty the keeper got his hand to the ball but could not keep it out.Town tried to get back into the game ,but at the end of full time Palace just about nicked it . (my choice men of the match) Cropper, Maduako, Jones, Lavery

Shame that we lost- but nice to see Lavery on top form again.
Does he ever play a bad game?- his constistency is incredible....
Lavery seems to beat opposition players for fun.
Nice to hear good things about Cropper....
