![]() Tuesday, 16th Nov 1999 16:00 Sieb Dykstra, the 'keeper Town took on a short term contract last week, has returned to Holland after one of the shortest spells with a club in history. He was brought in as cover for Richard Wright and Mike Salmon for Friday's game with Tranmere when it was thought that Wright would be away with the England U21s and Salmon would be injured. In the end both players were available and Dykstra didn't even make the bench. George Burley is reported as being confident that a new signing will take place early next week, possibly that of Matt Lockwood. Town are rumoured to have had an offer turned down by Orient already this week, but may be willing to offer more for the highly rated winger. Town have moved to quash the suggestion that Matt Le Tissier could be on his way to Portman Road on loan. His wages will be far too much for us to afford. Other names mentioned as targets for Town include Colchester's eighteen year old talent Lomano Tresor Lua Lua. Town would be looking at paying £500,000 for the attacking midfielder who has interested, amongst others Newcastle United already this season.
