Town reserves beat Luton reserves comfortably this afternoon in an entertaining game this afternoon at Portman Road. Town scored their first direct from a corner on the right by Sean Friars. The second came two minutes after the restart for the second half when he shot into the top left-hand corner. Friars nearly scored a hat trick with an almost identical shot half way through the second period.

Town's defence looked solid with Titus Bramble and Wayne Brown both looking particularly good. Brown was substituted about halfway through the second half, adding to speculation that he may get a first team start at the weekend. Trialist Miika Multaharju had a second reasonable game although didn't particularly shine.

Team: Salmon, Kennedy, Holster, Tanner, Bramble, Brown (Moffat), Multaharju, Keeble, Axeldal, Logan (Inglis) and Friars.
