Fülöp in Hungary Squad
Saturday, 21st May 2011 09:33

Town keeper Márton Fülöp has been named in the Hungary squad for their friendly in Luxembourg on Friday 3rd June and their Euro 2012 qualifier in San Marino four days later.

Fülöp, who has a year remaining on his Town contract, has previously won 24 full international caps.

Blues striker Tamás Priskin misses out with the knee injury which cut short his loan spell with Swansea City.

I wonder if Fulop will be with us next year? Perhaps PJ willopt to sell and replace? Or go with ALB as No.1 - which I really hope he doesn't do.

Hungary must be really struggling for goalkeepers if Flapper is named in the sqaud.Really hope that PJ has a number 1 goalkeeper on his list of players to improve the squad for next season or else it's going to be another disappointing season.

We really need to sort out our goalkeeper situation.
ALB should be our number 3, and Fulop our number 2. We need to get someone in there who can either be our number 1 outright or at least regularly rotate with Fulop.
We will have a disappointing season if our goalkeeper situation remains the same.
Hope we don't just let Fulops contract peter-out....
That guy from Coventry would be good. Ricardo might be worth a punt (was brilliant in some games for Leicester- and atrocious in others!)

Why does everyone hate him? Sure he has faults but he is one of the best GKs in the division IMO. Do people not remember Cardiff away, Leeds home/away, Millwall home, he made decent saves in all these games. besides i dont think hes actually on massive wages.
