![]() Thursday, 2nd Jun 2011 18:22 A tackle by Town defender Damien Delaney appears to have put Republic of Ireland skipper Robbie Keane out of Saturday’s Euro 2012 qualifier in Macedonia (Sky Sports One/HD1 8pm). Tottenham striker Keane suffered a groin injury apparently as a result of the challenge during training in Dublin today. Town target Simon Cox will deputise if Keane isn't fit enough to take on the Macedonians, who have former Blue Veliche Shumulikoski in their squad. Delaney himself is set to be a sub in Skopje with former Blues loanee Darren O’Dea continuing in the left-sided central defence role. Departing Town keeper Brian Murphy was a late call into the squad, with Motherwell’s Darren Randolph pulling out due to injury, but is unlikely to be involved.
