![]() Saturday, 11th Jun 2011 08:39 Town right-back Carlos Edwards is understood to have missed Thursday’s court appearance to answer various driving offences due to a form-filling error. The 32-year-old’s failure to appear at South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court led to a warrant being issued for his arrest. Edwards is currently back home in Trinidad after suffering a family bereavement and was also a guest of honour at his old school, St Anthony's College, yesterday along with his international team-mate Kenwyne Jones. The former Wrexham, Luton and Sunderland man’s no-show is believed to relate to a mistake made when filling in a form relating to the hearing, having pleaded guilty by post. Edwards had previously admitted two counts of driving without third party insurance, driving without a licence and driving without an MOT and is set to be banned, the charges relating to incidents in January. The warrant is still in effect with Edwards understood to be aware of the situation.
