Greene King has continued its sponsorship of Ipswich Town with the announcement today that the South Stand will be renamed “the Greene King Stand”.

The announcement comes as no surprise as the local brewers were forced out when the shirt sponsorship was up for renewal, as the deal with TXI Energi was too expensive. They continue to support the club, with the name being secured for 5 years.

Paul Clouting said of the deal “We are delighted that we are able to continue our previously successful relationship with Greene King. Both Greene King and ourselves have grown significantly since we first became involved six years ago. They have proved to be a pro-active and forward thinking company, producing excellent products which will prove to be of benefit to our supporters.”

The deal also means that Greene King products will be served at all bars within the stadium including executive areas.
