Jesper Blomqvist is again being linked with Town as well as a whole host of other clubs. The Swede was watched by several scouts as Manchester United reserves were hammered 5-0 by City's second string yesterday.

Blomqvist is on his way out of Manchester United but is being allowed to train with the squad and play in reserve games to help him find a new club.

The link with Town has appeared several times recently and may perhaps be strengthened if Jamie Clapham is on his way as earlier reports suggest.
