![]() Thursday, 11th Oct 2001 17:26 George Burley says he hopes his players will avoid strike action as the ballot looms. Burley says he wouldn't have gone on strike in his days as a player and hopes an agreement will be reached. The Town manager said: "Hopefully an amicable agreement can be reached. Football is a great sport, it is booming and hopefully an agreement can be sorted out. As a player I would not want to strike and our players don't want to, and hopefully the PFA and the Premiership can reach an agreement. I don't think it will come to a strike and the PFA don't really want that either and I'm sure something will be sorted out".
