Jewell Targeting Two Signings By Birmingham
Jewell Targeting Two Signings By Birmingham

Town boss Paul Jewell says he hopes to have new faces in his squad by the time the Blues face Birmingham at St Andrew’s next Wednesday, one a permanent deal, one a loanee with a view to a longer-term deal.

Jewell told the club site: "We're hoping to have a couple of new faces in by the time we play Birmingham. It will be difficult to do anything before then because we have the FA Cup game to focus on first.

"But we're talking to clubs and players about coming here and we've made a couple of enquiries. Now we are seeing if we can get something sorted with those deals."

Only two? We have lost four. Not good enough - there should have been players in before this weekend - IF PJ had have done his job properly. Plus, loaness - why? has PJ not learnt his lesson - back to square one in the Summer. Collins was with a view to a permanent move. It doesn't always happen.
