Magilton Linked With Move Down Under
Magilton Linked With Move Down Under
Friday, 6th Jan 2012 14:11

Former Blues boss Jim Magilton is reportedly set to be named the new manager of Australian side the Melbourne Victory. Coincidentally, Magilton's successor at Town, Roy Keane, was previously linked with the same job.

Magilton, who has also been linked with Derry City this week, recently missed out on the Northern Ireland management position with his friend Michael O'Neill, who he had been assisting at Shamrock Rovers, beating him to the role.

The 42-year-old is said to have flown to Australia for talks with the A-League side with his appointment believed to be close to being formalised.

Good move for Jim
Standard not that high over here, but most players give 100% all the time
if he can get them to play a passing game like the mighty Brisbane Roar he will do well, his big problem will be Harry Kewell v rest of Melbourne team
