![]() Thursday, 9th Feb 2012 10:26 Town have sold just over 17,000 tickets for Saturday’s reduced-price home game against Middlesbrough, slightly up on what would normally be expected despite the current cold snap. The club have cut prices by 25% in what they describe as “a major ticketing trial”. Ticket office manager John Ford told TWTD: “We’re currently over 17,000 which is higher by several hundred than I would expect at this point in the week for this match. “There are so many factors which are difficult to fully assess, such as the couple of recent wins, the bitterly cold weather still likely to be with us on Saturday and also for away fans their midweek cup match, but to me it feels like the attendance will be higher than many of the recent matches.” There is still time to buy tickets at the discounted prices, online from the club website, at the club shops or on 0844 8011 555. The pre-matchday discount applies today and tomorrow only, with all adult and concession prices increasing by £2.50 and under-16s by £1 on Saturday.
