Kieron Dyer's agent, Jonathan Barnett, has denied claims that the former Town star was involved in a brawl in Spain. Dyer and three other Newcastle players were sent home from a Newcastle training camp in Marbella earlier this week.

Barnett sdaid: "We have a meeting early next week with the chairman. He missed a dinner - there was no fight in the pub, he wasn't drunk and he wasn't fined - apart from that the press got it right. Basically he was wrong to have missed the dinner - of that there is no argument."
