![]() Thursday, 9th Aug 2012 06:00 Town have so far received no further contact from Aston Villa regarding left-back Aaron Cresswell, manager Paul Jewell has revealed. The Premier League side enquired about the 22-year-old’s availability towards the end of last month. Jewell said: “We’ve had no contact from Aston Villa, other than the gentle enquiry that I told you about three weeks ago, and obviously they’ve been at our pre-season games. “There’s no interest in any of our other players at the moment. That could change but I’m more interested in bring people in than moving people out. “But in football the natural way that things happen is that some players will leave the club. We don’t need to sell, we’ve a very small squad as it is and we want to try and improve it rather than deplete it.”
