Jewell Hopes Olympic Feel-Good Factor Continues into Football Season Tuesday, 14th Aug 2012 06:00 Blues boss Paul Jewell has paid tribute to the feel-good factor created by the Olympics and hopes it will carry on into the football season. Jewell said: “I think it’s been terrific. The feel-good factor of the Olympic Games has been great. The sportsmanship that I’ve seen has been great. “But don’t let anyone kid you, those Olympians are as competitive and as tough and as ruthless as anyone because to get to that level of competition, to get to that level and win, you’ve got to be driven and I take my hat off to all the Olympians, everyone who has competed in it. “It’s been a great success, a huge success for the country and hopefully we can all build on that and take the feel-good factor that’s around the country at the moment into the new football season.”
