Town’s U18s are in action against Brentford at Playford Road on Saturday morning (KO 11am).

Russell Osman’s youngsters will be looking to get back to form after their 3-2 home defeat to Colchester last time out.

Second-year scholar Gunnar Thorsteinsson (pictured) was in action with Iceland’s U19s earlier today as they beat Azerbaijan 2-1 in a European Championships qualifying group game in Croatia.

The Icelandic youngsters next take on the hosts on Sunday and finally Georgia next Wednesday.

Central defender or midfielder Thorsteinsson, 18, was handed first-team squad number 33 early in the season but has yet to be involved in a matchday 18.
