Ainsley's Chelmsford Loan Extended
Wednesday, 27th Mar 2013 11:51

Right-back Jack Ainsley's loan at Chelmsford has been extended until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old's one-month spell with the Blue Square Bet South side came to an end after Monday's 1-0 home victory over Eastbourne Borough, but he was keen to remain with the Essex club. The paperwork on the move is set to be completed tomorrow.

Academy graduate Ainsley is out of contract at Town at the end of the season - as is left-back Joe Whight who is also with Chelmsford for the remainder of the campaign - and looks set to be released.

Hope he can win himself a contract, unfortunately not good enough for the championship, all the best. I hope whight comes back a bit more prepared for this level as he looks like he could be a good player

what happened to Joe Whight? so much positivity around the kid - "one for the future", "Dont need to keep Kennedy as we have Cresswell and Whight" - now he is set to be released. Always a shame when a young player doesnt live up to the potential/hype

The sentence structure is confusing. Does Town intend releasing both Academy graduates at the end of the season?

Are we not making a move for anyone, Henderson gone, N'daw probably having played his last game for us.I 'M not suggesting we need a midfield player but possibly a keeper.

Ainsley has probably found his level and hopefully playing games will win himself a contract.

From seeing many reserve games, he simply isn't good enough although as always is honest and tries hard.

Whight is a mystery - clearly has the right attributes but seems to be a lack of confidence that is holding him back?
