Goalscoring hero Sixto Peralta will miss Saturday's crunch clash with Sunderland at Portman Road. The Argentinian injured his foot towards the end of the Leicester game and was replaced with Jim Magilton.

Peralta had a precautionary x-ray today which showed that although he has no break the bruising and swelling are enough to keep him out of action. Town boss George Burley is sad to be without him: "I am disappointed to not have Sixto in the team, his contribution to yesterday's win was self evident and it is a great shame for the boy not to be able to follow on a successive match against Sunderland."

Burley is looking forward to the Sunderland game, but warns it won't be easy: "We are looking forward to this game and there is no doubt it will be a very tough one, but to approach the match with two wins on the trot is encouraging. We know we have a tough fight to stay in the Premiership but we have the confidence and belief that we can stay in this League."

Peralta is likely to be replaced with either Jim Magilton or Jermaine Wright. Fellow central midfielder Matt Holland is a doubt with a foot injury, but he will have a late fitness test, but is likely to be available.
