 Friday, 4th Jan 2002 10:29 Manchester United are reported to be tracking Tonw youngster Dean Bowditch. The Academy U17 striker has been in fine scoring action for Town this season and has starred in the England U16 side too. United are said to have watched Bowditch, just 15, in action. If they were to try to poach the Bishop's Stortford-based player then they would have to pay Town compensation. In a similar situation to this Arsenal paid Notts County £500,000 for Jermaine Pennant.
