Three Changes for Town at Blackpool
Saturday, 9th Nov 2013 14:17

Town boss Mick McCarthy has been forced into three changes to his team for today’s game at Blackpool. Tommy Smith is unavailable due to international commitments, Aaron Cresswell is suspended and Paul Anderson is out with a groin injury.

Tyrone Mings starts at left-back, Luke Chambers moves into the centre alongside Christophe Berra for the first time with midfielder Cole Skuse switching to the right-back role he previously occupied while at Bristol City.

Ryan Tunnicliffe and Jay Tabb will fill the central and left midfield roles with skipper Carlos Edwards returning on the right. New signing Stephen Hunt is amongst the subs, as is Anthony Wordsworth.

Blackpool include ex-Town loanees Bradley Orr and Ricardo Fuller from the start, while Michael Chopra is on the bench.

Town: Gerken, Skuse, Chambers, Berra, Mings, Edwards, Hyam, Tunnicliffe, Tabb, Murphy, McGoldrick. Subs: Loach, Hewitt, Veseli, Hunt, Wordsworth, Nouble, Taylor.

Blackpool: Gilks, Bishop, Broadfoot, MacKenzie, Orr, Gosling, Angel, Dobbie, Grant, Ince, Fuller. Subs: Warner, Blackett, Zeegelaar, Delfouneso, Chopra, Davies, Tyson.

Simply do not get it. Hewitt has looked comfortable in all the games he has played. I thought it harsh when he got dropped to get Berra in the team. Now to be passed over is silly

Many complain on here about never giving the young guys a chance then when one is overlooked some whine when it's questioned.

MM has done great to steady our ship but I do start to grow a little concerned at the one formula plan. It seems everyone has his place in the list to play.

It should be about what is right for the occasion not about turns.

Taylor sent to get fit and now sits on our bench losing the fitness all over again.

Once again some monumentally ridiculous comments on here. Smith captaining his country in a "Pants International". Otherwise known as a World Cup Qualifying Play Off .
Suspect as some have already said, the Skuse decision may well be down to MM not wanting two inexperienced full backs away from home. I personally may have risked it but i will trust MM to know better than me.

3 enforced changes! - Why am I not surprised that both Taylor and Hunt haven't started.

First Marriott not being given a chance now Hewitt two young lads at the beginning of their careers they should be asking their agents to find them a Club that will given them a chance.

This is so frustrating! 1-0 down at half time and barring a miracle I would put my house on Town not getting anything out of this game. Let's hope I'm wrong though!
I see that JET has scored again today.I know it's a league lower than ours but I would have persevered with him for a bit longer because quite honestly we have no one better at the moment.
