Players Make Christmas Hospital Visits
Tuesday, 10th Dec 2013 19:29

Boss Mick McCarthy and the first team squad are taking part in the annual Christmas hospital and hospice visits throughout the week.

McCarthy, Aaron Cresswell, Ryan Tunnicliffe and Paul Taylor were at Ipswich Hospital’s children’s ward yesterday, distributing presents purchased by the players and staff, signing autographs and posing for photos.

Luke Chambers, Tommy Smith and Luke Hyam visited St Elizabeth Hospice today with the East of England Co-op, one of the club’s partners, donating £200 worth of food for the hospice’s Christmas dinner.

Cole Skuse, Dean Gerken and Alan Lee joined Simon Milton at St Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds.

In addition to gifts for patients, the players handed over bedding, lamps, cushions and curtains to improve the hospice’s Florence Cohen Room, where relatives of patients stay, while the East of England Co-op donated a 32” TV and DVD.

On Thursday, players will visit the children’s wards at the West Suffolk Hospital and Colchester Hospital and on Monday they will be at East Anglia's Children’s Hospice.

What a strange little guy paul taylor is,cant even smile for the cameras looks like he doesnt want to be there there are more pictures in the evening star, you would have thought that he would stop moping around and sulking because he is always injured after seeing these poor kids.My prediction is that he will be hopefully be following chopra and jet out of the door (as soon as we find somebody desperate enough to take him off our hands or maybe we will pay him to leave?)

Has anyone EVER heard an inteview with Paul Taylor?
I've heard that he is a very private guy, but it seems very strange to me..
Btw, good to see the players making an effort to put a smile on peoples faces, especially those who have a hard time

Well done all. Probably some of the patients not sure who all these visitors were but I am sure they appreciated it.
