![]() Thursday, 9th Jan 2014 09:32 Portman Road’s Legends Bar will be living up to its name after the QPR game on Saturday, with another club’s hero of the past joining former Town stars for a Legends in Legends Special. Fans of German club Fortuna Dusseldorf, who last year formed the Fortuna Blues branch of the ITFC Supporters Club, will be making their annual pilgrimage to Portman Road for the 10th time - 117 of them this time - and they’re bringing one of their own legends with them. Egon Köhnen is Fortuna’s most iconic player, a top-class defender who played for the club from 1966-81, throughout their greatest period, winning German Cups in 1979 and 1980 and making the final of the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1979. From a Town perspective, Bryan Hamilton, Fabian Wilnis and John Wark will be there with the players taking part in a question and answer session, as well as having photos taken, signing autographs and chatting. Entry is free of charge with the event, which is organised by the Supporters Club in conjunction with Town, starting soon after the end of the match with all fans welcome. A group of Fortuna fans, Egon Köhnen and Fabian Wilnis will also be appearing on Saturday’s Life’s a Pitch on Radio Suffolk.
