Draws for Loan Trio
Saturday, 15th Mar 2014 20:05

Elliott Hewitt, Freddie Veseli and Jack Doherty’s loan sides all drew this weekend.

On Saturday afternoon, Hewitt’s Gillingham drew 1-1 at Bradford in League One, while Veseli and Bury’s game at Southend ended goalless with the Shrimpers having striker Barry Corr sent off for a clash with the on-loan Blues defender, who escaped censure, towards the end.

Doherty’s Waterford drew 0-0 at home to Galway on Friday night, their opening Airtricity League First Division game of the season last week also having ended goalless.

Jack Marriott's Woking are at Luton in the Skrill Premier on Monday (BT Sport One, 7.30pm).

Sounds like Doherty was in good form. Involved throughout the match and his free kicks caused issues.
