Mauricio Taricco may be facing cup final disappointment after an incident in Wednesday's semi-final with Chelsea. The Argentinian missed out last time Spurs were in the Worthington Cup final three years ago as he had already played for Town in the competition.

Taricco now faces trial by television when the FA studies footage of last Wednesday's game. Taricco appeared to slap Mario Melchiot in the melee which led to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's erroneous sending off.
