The competition to win five pairs of tickets to Thursday's sporting dinner featuring former Liverpool keeper Bruce Grobbelaar at Greshams in Tuddenham Road is now closed.

The evening, which includes a two-course traditional roast dinner, will be hosted by Simon Milton with Grobbelaar joined by a comedian, while there will also be an auction. Proceeds from the dinner go to Town’s Academy Association.

Tickets are still on sale and cost £25, while a table of 10 is £225. All prices are inclusive of VAT. To reserve or purchase tickets, call 01473 250816.

The winners of the competition who were picked at random from those who emailed to tell us that John Wark was the member of Town’s 1981 UEFA Cup-winning team who played alongside Grobbelaar at Anfield were Stuart Fisher, Paul Daley, Phil Bullard, Peter King and Dean Wade.
