Fulham Game and Boat Trip Go Ahead as Planned
Tuesday, 3rd Feb 2015 22:17

Town’s game against Fulham at Craven Cottage will take place at 3pm on Saturday 14th February as scheduled, the Cottagers having been beaten 3-1 at home by Sunderland in tonight’s FA Cup fourth round replay.

Had the West Londoners won the tie the would have played their fifth round match away against Bradford that day and the game against the Blues would have moved to the following Wednesday.

The result is good news for the 250 Town fans taking a boat trip to the match. The organisers, Ian McCormack and Ed Stephenson, told Saturday’s Life’s a Pitch on Radio Suffolk all about it (from 43mins 50secs).

Town have already sold more than 3,000 of their ticket allocation of almost 4,000 for their first trip to Craven Cottage since a 1-1 draw in October 2001.

Ha! Love how the boat trip got a mention in this story.

I won't be on the boat, but I will be coming down. Never before observed a Fulham cup tie with so much interest...!

Some ferry good comments. Are tickets still on sail? Which row shall I sit in?

Let's just hope we don't or in another SUB standard performance
