![]() Friday, 22nd Feb 2002 14:14 TWTD has learnt that Portman Road could resound to the beats of a new version of Singing the Blues next season. The club plan to spice up the current hoary old Quo-rock recording with a new South American flavour. The new rendition is being recorded on Saturday by the Suffolk School of Samba, the drummers who were employed by the club a season or so ago to enhance the atmosphere of home games. Depending on how successful the club and the band feel the new version is, the new recording will be played on the Portman Road PA next season by DJ Rob Chandler. DJ Rob was on the TWTD board yesterday reacting to criticism emanating from some of his comments at half-time during the Manchester City match. Since then Town have apologised to City and he has been censured by the club.
