![]() Tuesday, 15th Feb 2000 14:03 Good news for young Town centre-half Titus Bramble after his visit to a London specialist. Titus has been told that he won't need an operation for his injured knee which he hurt playing for Colchester at Layer Road against Bristol Rovers a month ago. A scan showed that the problem will clear up if the player rests for three weeks. Meanwhile fellow centre-half injury victims Manu Thetis and Mark Venus are both on the road to recovery. Manu is likely to play in tomorrow's home reserve game with Millwall (KO 2pm), whilst Venus is rated as doubtful for the Crewe match at the weekend, but is likely to be available for the game with Birmingham the Sunday after. Patrice Maurel will also be amongst those playing in tomorrow's reserve game as he now has clearance to play.
