![]() Monday, 11th Mar 2002 09:49 George Burley says that another player may still be on the way before the March 28th transfer deadline, although no specific target has emerged as yet. TWTD understands that the Blues have watched transfer-listed Norwegian Thorstein Helstad once again. The Brann striker, 24, was transfer-listed two weeks ago after failing to sign a contract extension. Helstad was the joint top scorer in the Norwegian League last season scoring 17 goals. The previous season he was top marksman again, this time with 18. He has been linked with Town on and off for a year or so and has also had a trial at Leeds and was reported to be interesting Southampton at one time. TWTD also hears that Town have been keeping a regular watch on Arsenal's reserve side. The Gunners' second string has a number of promising youngsters, many of whom are likely to have to move from Highbury in order to progress their careers further.
