 Tuesday, 12th Mar 2002 00:13 The Irish press have linked Town with a move for Blackburn midfielder Alan Mahon. The twice-capped Irish winger has not been a regular for Graeme Souness's side this season. Mahon, 23, joined Blackburn from Sporting Lisbon on loan last season and was heavily involved as Rovers were promoted. In the summer the move was made permanent for £1.5 million, but he has made just ten Premiership starts.
