McCarthy Makes Eight Changes
Tuesday, 12th Jan 2016 19:17

Town boss Mick McCarthy has reverted to a more regular Championship side for this evening’s game at home to Leeds United, making eight changes from the team which drew 2-2 with Portsmouth in the FA Cup on Saturday.

The team is the same as the one which won 1-0 at Brighton and shows only one change from the side which drew 0-0 at Burnley with Jonathan Douglas returning from his knee injury to replace Luke Hyam.

For Leeds, former Town loanee Chris Wood misses out with a hamstring injury.

Town: Gerken, Chambers (c), Smith, Berra, Knudsen, Skuse, Douglas, Fraser, Bru, Sears, Murphy. Subs: Bialkowski, Malarczyk, Hyam, Maitland-Niles, Oar, Varney, Pitman.

Leeds: Silvestri, Wootton, Bellusci, Cooper (c), Taylor, Byram, Bridcutt, Mowatt, Cook, Carayol, Doukara. Subs: Peacock-Farrell, Coyle, Bamba, Phillips, Murphy, Dallas, Antenucci. Referee: Fred Graham (Stanford-le-Hope).
