Your v Match Reports

Sadly much as I expected. The 1st half looked fairly even but without Town troubling Hull other than Murphy hitting the post after a messy corner kick. I said to my mates at 1/2 time Hull looked like they could easily step it up and sure enough they did. It was unfortunate that the goal came on the counter after Town created a half chance in the Hull penalty area and while it was a good goal the question has to asked why was the full back allowed to run unchallenged into the Town half. Nobody even attempted to close him down or take him out.
In my view Town have become totally predictable under McCarthy with no one willing or able to put a foot on the ball. Everyone wants to wack it down the pitch towards Murphy (who is half the player he was last season). If it wasn't for Freddie we would have no serious threat going forward - he chased everything all night but sadly McCarthy will not play him through the middle where he would be most effective.
I expect Smithy and Bera to hoof the ball away but surely the likes of Jonathan (Sideways Backwards anywhere but forwards) Douglas and Bru ought to be able to show some composure.
Knudsen worked hard but doesn't look remotely like blossoming into the next Cresswell or Mings. Pringle aside from looking knackered midway through the 2nd half is no substitute for Frazer - he has little or no pace and didn't put one decent cross into the box.
The stadium was a quiet as I can remember it being for a long time apart from a couple of moments when the referee made a couple of dubious decisions but all in all a poor showing once again from a poor footballing side. Zero shots on target at home says it all.
