![]() Tuesday, 29th Feb 2000 10:25 Town centre-half John McGreal is almost certain to miss Saturday's Portman Road clash with Pompey after damaging a medial ligament at Birmingham on Sunday. Although the injury looked better on Monday morning than expected it is still expected to keep him out for the weekend and possibly the midweek game with Blackburn. Town have a number of options as a replacement, but the most likely is that Manu Thetis will come back into the side. Manu hasn't played an awful lot in recent months due to a hamstring injury and then an ankle injury which hampered his return. But he has a chance to impress in the reserves tomorrow and could find himself in the Saturday's team. Other options include moving Matt Holland to centre-half, bringing in Titus Bramble (another one short of match fitness) or moving Fabian Wilnis to an unfamiliar position. Wilnis played at centre-half in a recent reserve game and did little wrong. Saturday's game is selling out fast and it would be wise to purchase your tickets as soon as possible. The same goes for the derby game with Norwich which has only 1500 restricted view and single seats left. Both the North Stand and the Britannia Stands have sold out. Chris Keeble, told last week he is to be released by Town plays his second trial game for Colchester reserves today at Swindon.
