![]() Friday, 5th Apr 2002 11:27 North Stand season ticket holders received a letter from the club this morning outlining the how the move into the new stand will progress. Currently North Stand regulars are distributed across the Lower North and Upper Greene King and will move to their permanent seats next season. The club say that around 400 supporters are yet to respond to the previous letter asking who they wish to sit alongside in the new stand and they are encouraging them to respond as soon as possible. Several others have asked to sit with people who were not North Stand regulars during the 2000/01 season, something the club are not permitting. Town officials have met with a supporters' liaison committee and will do so again before the Middlesbrough game. The club aims to move supporters into the new lower tier to roughly where they were in the old stand. The difficulty is that the new lower tier has two less rows than the old stand, however each row is slightly longer. Fans will get a chance to view the proposed seating arrangements from next week. The club will then review any comments before revising the plan in May. Town have confirmed that once again the lower North will be one price across the board while the upper tier will be a no smoking area.
