Hermann Hreidarsson, close to a third relegation from the Premiership, says he won't ask for a transfer should Town go down. The Icelander has previously dropped out of the Premiership with Crystal Palace and Wimbledon and is determined it won't happen again.

Town's number five shirt said: "I have never asked for a transfer and I won't do it here.

"I will stay, unless the club says otherwise, but let's not talk about relegation. Let's stay positive because we are all desperate for the same thing — to stay up."
