Saturday, 11th Mar 2017 21:17

Striker Ben Morris made his senior debut as a sub for Woking, who he joined on loan this morning, as they drew 0-0 at home to Boreham Wood in the Vanarama National League.

England U18 international Morris, 17, came on in the 74th but was unable to break the deadlock.

Elsewhere, midfielder Kundai Benyu, whose loan with Aldershot has been extended into a fourth month, played the full 90 minutes as the Shots lost 1-0 at Guiseley, also in the National League.

Meanwhile, defender Joe Robinson was in the St Albans side which lost 3-0 at home to Ebbsfleet in the National League South.

Keeper Jacob Marsden and Leiston drew 1-1 at home to Bognor Regis Town in the Ryman League Premier Division.

Good luck Ben, I hope that you make good progress, you certainly know were the net is. You would no doubt be played out of your natural position if given a chance under MM, I wouldn't want you to wasted like Freddy.

Wouldn't of minded Ben getting a chance or two from the bench for us this season, it's not like our senior strikers are pulling up trees so why not take a chance on our youth? The ideal time to get youth players on the pitch to start with is say 10 minutes from the end when you are 2 nil up already but sadly that is so rare these days given we can barely score 1 let alone 2!

Don't think MM will give any of our youngsters a chance now that Town are only 7 points above the relegation zone and falling!
