Peddelty on Life's a Pitch
Saturday, 15th Apr 2017 10:51

John Peddelty is the star guest on Life’s a Pitch at lunchtime today on BBC Radio Suffolk (midday to 2pm). Host Mark Murphy will also be joined by legend-in-residence Kevin Beattie and New Tractorboy.

Central defender Peddelty came through the youth set-up at Portman Road during Sir Bobby Robson’s time in charge at the club and made his senior debut in January 1973.

Bishop Auckland-born Peddelty went on to make 50 first-team appearances for the Blues, scoring six, goals before joining Plymouth Argyle in October 1976 along with Terry Austin in the deal which saw Paul Mariner move the other way.

Did last night’s win at Burton make Town safe? Can the Blues beat Newcastle on Monday? Give us your thoughts on those questions or anything else via email, Mark’s Twitter or during the show by phone on 01473 212121 or text to 81333 starting your message with SFK.

The show can be heard on 95.5FM, 95.9FM, 103.9FM and 104.6FM, and also now on DAB, or online via a widget on this page by clicking here.
